Is Weiner About to Finally Go Down? He's back in New York, but possibly not for long

After spending a few weeks at a sex rehab facility near Nashville, disgraced former Congressman Antony Weiner was spotted at the apartment in New York that he shared with top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, the Daily Mail reported.

It’s been a rough year for the pitiful Weiner, Aka Carlos Danger. In August, we here at Washington Babylon reported that he continued to sext young women despite having lost his congressional seat and a New York mayoral bid because of his compulsive behavior. Soon thereafter the New York Post reported that Weiner had sexted a crotch shot to a woman while he lay in bed with his four-year-old son, prompting Abedin to announce she planned to end their marriage.

Then the Daily Mail revealed that he had been sexting a minor, which prompted an FBI investigation. According to the Mail, which obtained and published some of the messages, Weiner told the girl she made him “hard,” sent her a selfie from a hot tub, and sent her a number of messages that make Penthouse Letters look like high art.

Yesterday’s story in the Mail suggested that Abedin and Weiner were still together and continued to share the apartment. Whether true or not — and if it is, Abebin is an even more bizarre person than is already evident — Weiner’s troubles are apparently about to get bigger.

According to two sources with knowledge of the investigation, the FBI has concluded that Weiner should be charged in the latest sexting scandal and has recommended that the Justice Department take action. Justice is still said to be reviewing the case but based on what the Mail has reported, it’s hard to see how the department could fail to indict Weiner.
